Charlene William Daycare
The Daycare is located in IR#3 among the business complex of the Xeni People. It facilitates a fundamental requirement for Childcare while Community members are engaged in the work force enjoying a working career. The daycare strives to provide well-rounded care giving and exercise in their daily routine.
The Tsilhqot'in Immersion program is offered to children ages from infant to age 5. This daycare is involved in the Tsilhqot'in immersion program and it makes it completely unique from other daycares. The Benefits for the Community:

Dianne E. Lulua, Daycare & Immersion Administrator
Dianne is responsible for coordinating and managing the Daycare budget, report on expenditures and revenues.
Selina Myers, Tsilhqot’in Immersion Teacher
Selina is the Tsilhqot’in teacher for the pre-school and kindergarten students that attend the Tsilhqot’in Immersion program. Selina has over 25 years of Immersion teaching experience. She has over 10 years working in Xeni Gwet’in. She was born and raised in Xeni and she also has program approval from the School District #27 to teach in the tsilhqot’in language.
Brenda Billyboy, Daycare Worker
Brenda provides daycare services during the workweek. She assists Selina with Tsilhqot’in Immersion. Brenda is certified in Early Childhood Education for 12 years. She has worked in many head start programs in the Tsilhqot’in and Shuswap Region.
Sylvie Quilt, Janitor
Sylvie is responsible for the janitorial duties in the Daycare/Immersion Building.
